Music was an important part of Alison's life. Always a talented singer, Alison won the Leng medal as a teenager in addition to various other awards throughout her youth. Music was a passion Alison shared with Bill Hastie, in a partnership lasting over two decades. Together, Alison and Bill recorded many songs in the "Hastie Retreat" studio, and performed together on stage throughout the 80's and 90's.
